We have been going to this lost Paradise as a family for over 5 years. I had been to Fort Langley a million times before but never really looked across the river.

This is a good place to swim in the Fraser river, maybe take your canoe or kayak. There's a beach and restrooms. There is also a camp ground attached which has an outdoor pool and a general store that sells ice cream by the scoop as well as other food items. The camp ground itself though is not so much for the privacy seeker, very open.

I've gone kayaking up and down the river many times and you'll quite often see a few rowing teams, kayak classes and the occasional speed boat cruise on by.

It's never really too busy but there are always kids playing in the sand and dogs leaping into the water. The swimming is fine without much current. No swimmers itch or leaches. The water isn't even very cold in the summer.

I love going for walks here with my hubby and dogs, Twix and Reese. Such beauty so close to home.

Pricey for a campground, but extremely well run. Lots of activities and themes throughout the summer. There is a small swimming pool, general store and a play area for the kids. With the river close the mosquitoes can be bad in the summer months.

Fort Langley is close by for shopping and site seeing. Lots of walking and biking trails along the Fort to Fort trail. Fort Langley Golf Course is close as well.

Lots of powerful mosquitos! Though very attractive small town there across the bridge.

When the tide is out expect sandy beaches and a good amount of space to set up for an afternoon.
