  The food quality and standard is WAY above that of any other pub, consistently! Good, prices, good people, good atmosphere, amazing food!

  Booked a group event for 70 ppl in one section of pub. It was a Xmas brunch beginning at 11am. My daughter and I were turned away very rudely because she is a minor. She’s part of the group. It was a year-end Xmas group event. The hostess rudely looked at my 10 year old and said, “she has to go”. I explained we were part of the group with a booked section. No go. We were turned away, told licensing didn’t permit kids. This was BRUNCH..not evening. This was a planned group event with a private section booked. My daughter felt horrible because not only could she not attend this much-anticipated event, but neither could I. Never had a problem bringing our daughter into any pub in the morning or afternoon. The coldness in the way we were told, “she can’t stay” as shocked fellow group members were filing in past us was uncalled for. Obviously we weren’t intending on giving her liquor. It was a brunch event. Licensing permitted serving food. That was all she’d have had. Refusing us entry for a privately booked section and group Xmas event was awful treatment, and left us with very negative feelings at what was supposed to be a holiday event. We will not set foot in your establishment again.

  Overall a good Langley pub. The food and service is good but not exceptional. Yet far too many pubs including this one, are charging excessively for alcoholic beverages. Sample tonight the charge was $16 dollars plus two $*tip (for average service) making two beers cost $18.00. Frankly I find this excessive and near gouging or taking advantage of working g class people. So going for a couple of drinks and food? Expect your bill to be $40 - 50.
